Visits to the cooperative last 20 minutes, and allow the general public to get to know the oil protection process employed in these modern facilities with the to-face mill installed in 1995. The person in charge of the tour explains to visitors the whole process from the arrival of olives to milling. These explanations are accompanied by an oil tasting session including bread and olives, before or after the tour.
When visits take place during the oil production season, around November and December, the mill can be seen in action. Visitors can also see the old mill, which still turns although it is not use. It is also possible to buy the cooperative’s oils in the farm shop, along with a wide range of wines and cures, dried nuts and other high-quality products.
