Comarquinal manor house dates from the 16th century and was one of the best-known in the region at the time. When the current owners acquired the property in the late nineties it had already been reduced to twelve acres, four of them housing Cabernet vineyards. Merlot and Pinot Noir varieties were planted at a later date. The property is currently inhabited by the owners, who look after the vines, and part of it has been adapted to offer rural accommodation.
A variety of activities and accommodation types are available, all designed exclusively for adults. All the rooms and common areas are painstakingly decorated and are named after characters in the most popular Mozart operas as a tribute to the composer.
