The rural house Casa Vilaspasa is located 1,200 metres above sea level and is close to Boí Valley. The building, dating back to the late 19th century, has undergone a recent renovation to become a rural mountain lodge.
Even today, Casa Vilaspasa retains many features from its history, such as the threshing floor where wheat was threshed and pens where animals were kept. The cellar, the pantry and the bread furnace also serve to illustrate the old domestic life at the farmhouse.
From Gotarta, panoramic views take in the small medieval village of Erill-Castell, located on the crest of a mountain, which now lies abandoned after having been the seat of a barony the domains of which were spread throughout the region.
