Casa Puig, located in Montcorbau, four kilometres from Vielha, in the Val d'Aran, is a typical 19th-century farmhouse that has retained its floor and wooden roof. The house offers four twin bedrooms and two triples, and features stone walls and a large balcony overlooking Mijaran, the Baricauba forest and Salient.
The Val d'Aran offers a wide range of high-mountain activities. While the main activity in the area is winter sports, such as alpine and cross-country skiing, and dog sledging, the region does, in fact, offer year-round activities like the river sports of rafting, kayaking and hydro-speed and climbing and canyoning, as well as cultural alternatives such as visits to the area's ethnological museums, the Romanesque churches of the Boí Valley and the hot springs of Caldes.
