Cal Carulla is located at an altitude of 720 metres in the village of Astor, an addition to the municipality of Pujalt, in the region of Anoia. The surroundings offer excursions on foot, by bicycle and horse, as well as hot air balloon rides. Astor is part of a route that includes five stone villages and, among the other attractions, features the Romanesque church of Santa Magdalena.
Cal Carulla-La Cort is located in a former farmyard, now transformed into a 50-square-metre house that retains its original stone walls, wooden beams and plaster vaulted ceiling. The house sleeps four people and features two bedrooms, a bathroom with bath, a living room with fireplace, a dining area and a fully-equipped kitchen. The exterior contains garden furniture and a barbecue area.
