The Can Ricard cottage is located in the centre of the village of Alfara de Carles, on the Ports de Beseït massif in the Baix Ebre. The town boasts a number of natural attractions like the Parc Natural dels Ports, the En Castells caves, the hills of En Garcia, and the Cueva del Bou (552 metres), Penyaflor, Farrúbio (792 metres) and Tossa de la Reina (1,113 metres) mountains. It is, therefore, the perfect place for hiking and biking, but also offers guests the possibility of cultural visits to prehistoric relics, paintings and stone items in the region's mountain ranges.
Can Ricard has three floors and retains the original structure of the village houses, although it has been renovated as a country lodging. It sleeps ten people and has five bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room with fireplace.
