Cal Portalé is located in Claverol, a small town in the Conca de Dalt in the Pallars Jussà, on the left bank of the Noguera Pallaresa, on a hill overlooking the Sant Antoni dam and the La Pobla de Segur plain. Activities in the area include cultural visits to the Claverol castle, the Romanesque Mare de Déu de la Serreta and Sant Aleix chapels, the possibility of picking mushrooms when in season and participating in outdoors sports such as paragliding, kayaking, hang gliding and water-skiing. For those guests who want to hike, the Camino Viejo or old road, which begins at the edge of the Noguera Pallaresa and reaches the town, is an good way to discover the surrounding areas and views.
As well as a cottage that serves as country lodging, Cal Portalé is a restaurant where it produces its own products and holds wine tastings. It has a double room and a quadruple room, both with private bathroom.
