Can Fontanelles is an old country house of the 10th century, located in a mountain area under the Cogulló de Can Torre (877 metres) and five kilometres from the nearest urban centre, Castellfollit del Boix. In the country house and on the farm two accommodations have been enabled. Moreover, there is a pen, covered areas and the Romanesque chapel of Sant Vicenç de Fontanelles (12th century), which has been documented in a will from 1172. The farm covers an area of 372 hectares of forest, pasture and cereal crops, almond trees, olive trees and vines. Legumes are grown as well: chickpeas and the famous beans of Castellfollit del Boix.
Both can communicate and work together. Common services include table tennis, barbecue, disco, artificial lake, porches and pool.
