The agricultural and winemaking tradition of the area has left many traces in the Penedès region, home to Can Cardús. This 11th-century farmhouse is characteristic of the area and has been declared a Historical and Architectural Heritage site.
The building is in the municipality of Torrelavit, in a landscape of olive groves, vineyards and grain fields. The area is well connected with important wine-producing towns such as Vilafranca and Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.
A garden courtyard provides access to the entrance of the main building: a manor house surrounded by a group of buildings which includes three settlers' houses and the old cellar.
The owners offer breakfast and dinner, featuring dishes of the region, as well as all kinds of information about visits to nearby castles or to local wineries.
