The Giverola cove is a beautiful u-shaped colourful cove: the different blues of the sea, the sand´s pink tones and the pine tree´s bright green.
It is located five kilometres from the town of Tossa de Mar. It is well protected by rocky formations, that end with the point of S´Aguilera, to the west, and the point of Giverola, to the east.
It is 170 metres long and with a variable width that goes from fifty metres on the right hand side to barely fifteen on the left hand side. The seabed is sandy on the wide part and rocky on the narrow part.
It has showers, a beach bar, a car park and hotel with a restaurant on the beach, with several sports facilities. It also has a pedalo, kayak and dinghy rental service. There are also boats with crystal floors that border the coast.
On the left hand side of the beach there are rocks between which there is a tunnel that gives access to another beach, the Racó de Llevant de Giverola, completely surrounded with pine trees.
The coastal strip that goes from the beach to the point of S´Aguilera is formed by imposing cliffs among which lies the hidden cove of Es Bordins. It is an excellent place for diving, regularly visited by the neighbouring diving centres.
