Cal Xico is a country house located in Ribera de Urgellet in Alt Urgell. The house is made of stone and wood and is decorated in a rustic style. It was renovated in 2010. It has also been adapted for disabled guests. The accommodation is rented on a half-board basis and also offers a dinner option. Meals are prepared using products made on site, including wine, and other products typical of the area such as cold cuts.
The house is next to the Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró, in an exceptional setting that is perfect for enjoying the Pre-Pyrenean scenery, going hiking, fishing or mushroom picking. Ribera de Urgellet boasts some of the county's largest livestock farms, which sell traditional homemade cheeses. The house is also close to some of the region's finest examples of Romanesque architecture, including the church of San Martín de Tost, which was founded in the 11th century, and other Romanesque remains such as San Esteban de Sauvanyà and San Frutiós de Fontelles.
