Cal Xic is a rural lodging in the village of Saldes, in the county of Berguedà and within the Interès Nacional del Massís del Pedraforca site. The country house functions as a small hostel, since it offers rooms to rent and a restaurant service. The house, which can accommodate up to 15 people, has two living rooms and single and double bedrooms with bathrooms.
Saldes is located at the foot of the iconic mountain of Pedraforca in the Parc Natural Cadí-Moixeró, in an exceptional setting that is perfect for enjoying the Pre-Pyrenean scenery, going hiking, fishing or mushroom picking. Guests can also take a relaxing stroll along the stream of Saldes or go hiking through the Serra d'Ensija, which is close to the property. It is also perfect for experiencing the region's cultural heritage, which includes extraordinary churches such as Santa Maria del Castell de Gósol and the dolmen de Molers, and for sampling the local cuisine.
