The traditional stone façade, with large stones framing the lintel of the door, really welcomes visitors to Cal Sec. Once inside, the careful restoration work that has been carried out is plain to see. The establishment sleeps up to 10 people in bedrooms with bathrooms and access to a kitchen, which includes a small breakfast. It is also possible to rent the whole house or to hire it exclusively by taking two double bedrooms.
The rooms have antique furniture combined with modern décor and lighting, which lend the house a cosy and comfortable feel. Behind the house there is a small garden and porch with barbecue, table and benches for enjoying meals outdoors. Located in the town's Carrer Major, it makes the ideal starting point for exploring some of the nearby attractions, such as the flour mill in Puig-oriol, the centre of Lluçà and the natural spaces of the Merlès stream and the Garet reservoir.
