Cal Maró is a former barn dating back to 1840, which has been renovated and converted into a village house. It is located in the village of Castellbò, in the region of Alt Urgell. It can accommodate 10 guests. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, dining room near the entrance and five bedrooms, three of which are twins and two are doubles. Each has a private bathroom. The outside area features a terrace with barbecue and a fountain with table and chairs, tennis court and pool.
Guests can visit places like Montferrer, the location of the Plaça de la Trobada - an archaeological site dating back to the 6th and 7th centuries. Castellbò was the old Cathar capital of the Pyrenees and still retains the church of Santa Maria and remains of the old castle. In the ski resort of Sant Joan de l'Erm, guests can practise cross-country or alpine skiing, mountain biking and horse riding.
