Cal Janet de Serrat is an old village house which has been recently renovated respecting the original rustic character, without sacrificing modern conveniences. Thus, the house has the façade and walls of stone and wood predominates in the interior. Outside there is a garden with a barbecue. The property belongs to a family dedicated to livestock and hospitality.
The house is located in Serrat, a small hamlet belonging to Queralbs. Queralbs is a typical Pyrenean village located in the Ribes Valley. It is located at the foot of Puigmal and also gives access to many other important peaks in the area: the Balandrau, Torreneules, Nou Fonts and Pic de l'Infern. It is therefore an ideal place for hiking and mountain sports. There is also a rich heritage of Romanesque art that can be visited in the valley and the rest of the region of El Ripollès.
