In Organyà guests can visit the collegiate church of Santa Maria, a Romanesque church of the 10th century. In addition to its artistic and architectural value, the church is famous for being the place where the Homilies d'Organyà were found, one of the oldest texts written in Catalan. It was found in 1904 by historian Joaquim Miret i Sans and is dated to the late 12th century. The original document, given its high value, is preserved in the Biblioteca de Catalunya. In Organyà guests can see a replica in the Plaza de Les Homilies tourist information office. Leaving the village, it is worth climbing up the mountain of Santa Fe, where there are magnificent views, or come for a swim in the River Fontanet.
